Key Responsibilities and Career Growth:

As the Head of Analytics & AI Enablement, you will be instrumental in democratizing data and AI capabilities across Currys. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Driving Adoption and Value: Leading the strategy for AI and analytics products, ensuring they deliver maximum business value and are seamlessly integrated into operations.
• Building Data Literacy: Designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance analytics literacy and technical skills across all departments.
• Establishing Centers of Excellence: Creating and managing support structures that provide best practices, ongoing assistance, and coaching for colleagues using analytics and AI platforms.
• Fostering Cultural Change: Championing the embedding of analytics into decision-making processes and collaborating with leaders to integrate AI into daily workflows.
• Managing Change Effectively: Owning the change management strategy for new AI and analytics capabilities to ensure smooth implementation and sustained adoption.
• Empowering Colleagues: Developing and maintaining self-service resources, documentation, and governance frameworks to empower users while upholding quality and security standards.
• Developing Talent: Partnering with HR to design career paths and capability frameworks that cultivate internal analytics talent and expertise.
• Measuring Impact: Tracking adoption metrics, quantifying business value, and communicating outcomes to demonstrate the return on investment of enablement initiatives.

This role offers extensive collaboration opportunities with a wide array of teams, including Technology leaders, operational experts, Transformation, Enterprise Risk, Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, and Internal Audit. You will have the chance to influence senior stakeholders, up to Board and Executive Committee levels, shaping the strategic direction of data and AI within the company.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A proven history of successfully driving large-scale analytics adoption within complex retail or consumer-facing organizations.
• Deep expertise in change management and establishing data-led cultures at scale.
• A strong understanding of modern analytics platforms and tools, with practical experience in SQL, Python, and BI tools.
• Demonstrated success in creating and delivering technical training programs for diverse audiences.
• Experience building and managing effective Centers of Excellence for continuous capability improvement.
• A clear track record of measuring business outcomes and demonstrating value from enablement initiatives.
• Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to drive behavioral change without direct authority.
• Experience managing diverse teams, including employees, contractors, and partners, to achieve large-scale delivery.
