Job Description JOB TITLE: Head of Commercial Performance, BCB LOCATIONS: Birmingham / Bristol / Edinburgh / Leeds / London HOURS: Full-Time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites About This Opportunity Weâre looking for a Head of Commercial Performance to lead strategy and drive excellence across Business & Commercial Banking (BCB). Youâll design and continually improve the performance framework that enables outstanding sales performance & success in SME, Mid Corporate (MC), and Business Banking (BB) segments. Your work will align BCB scorecards, board-level metrics, Group Finance priorities, and Executive Leadership goals - connecting day-to-day activity with long-term ambition. As a Senior Leader, you'll lead a team of around 80 colleagues within Commercial Performance & Enablement (CP&E), shaping how BCB defines, delivers, and communicates its performance story. Youâll own the core lead indicators that guide the BCB operating plan and trading performance, providing a complete, end-to-end view that empowers confident decision-making. Acting as a key link between front-line sales, product, channel, and Finance teams, youâll champion growth, operational effectiveness, and data-driven insight. Youâll also lead the development of future-ready data capabilities, using innovative technologies such as Generative Business Intelligence (Gen BI) to deliver intuitive, accessible insights that strengthen strategic decisions. By combining strategic leadership with advanced data capabilities, youâll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of BCB performance! Key Accountabilities Design and maintain the performance system for SME, MC, and BB segments. Align scorecards and metrics with organisational priorities. Lead data and insight frameworks using tools and emerging tech including automation. Own executive reporting, dashboards, and management information. Monitor performance trends and lead interventions. Drive collaboration across Coverage, Finance, Product, and Operations. Champion process improvement and contribute to strategic programmes. Lead the Performance Support Team for SME Coverage and onboarding projects.
