Job Description JOB TITLE: Head of Collaboration (M365) Engineering SALARY: £124,653 - £146,650 LOCATION: Leeds, Edinburgh, or London HOURS: Full-time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites, attending on the Platform anchor day with flexibility around the other office day(s) About this opportunity… The Modern Workplace platform provides IT services to 90,000 colleagues across Lloyds Banking Group. You'll be at the heart of one of the UK's biggest financial service technical transformations maximising the use of shared tools and technology across our entire organisation. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Collaboration Engineering to lead a team of engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining collaboration solutions across Lloyds Banking Group. This role is crucial in driving technical excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in collaboration technologies including M365 Productivity Tooling, Data, Messaging Platforms & Real Time Communications. What you’ll be doing… Product Management: Work with the Lab Product Owner to provide effective leadership and management of the team. Specifically, this requires setting the vision, mobilisation of the teams required to deliver it and ensuring effective delivery execution. Innovation: Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve colleague experience, efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of innovation to ensure we deliver high quality Services, maximise value of our investments and use technology to solve problems in new ways. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and identify areas for improvement Application Management: Manage technology budgets, resources and allocating them efficiently across products and services. Take ownership and accountability for delivery, operations risk management and total cost of services Your Development: Have the opportunity to participate in a number of career development activities, become aligned to some great Mentors within the business and access a huge array of learning and development to build your skills and career. What you’ll need… Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower the Collaboration Lab (Product & Engineering Team). Proven experience, both hands on & managing Collaboration Technology platforms across Enterprise environments including M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, etc.), Data platforms, Email platforms, Compliance & Surveillance Technologies and Real Time Communications. Practical experience within an Agile change delivery construct, ideally having used JIRA/JIRA Align previously being comfortable leading the team within a SCRUM / Kanban model; always seeking to improve our skills and our product.
