maintain strong, collaborative relationships with client senior management and key stakeholders by actively listening to their needs and responding with empathy and care.</li> <li>Large Scale Operations: Manage a 1 million sq ft facility that includes three separate chambers, with both manual and automated operations, and oversee a team of over 500 people.</li> <li>Collaborative Planning: Contribute to creating a Joint Business Plan with clients, ensuring a shared strategic framework that aligns the goals of both DHL and the client for mutual success.</li> <li>Operational Excellence: Focus on operational service, cost control, and quality performance while guiding regular client business reviews in a supportive and inclusive manner.</li> <li>Empowering Site Performance: Maximize site operations by effectively directing teams, thoughtfully planning resources, and maintaining open communication with all staff levels to foster a harmonious and productive work environment.</li> <li>Commitment to Compliance: Ensure that site operations meet all legal, corporate, contractual, and client requirements for safety, quality, service delivery, and cost, prioritizing the well-being of all stakeholders.</li> <li>Strategic Resource Planning: Implement effective resource planning based on client volume forecasts and operational capabilities, regularly reviewing and adjusting plans to stay responsive and adaptive.</li> <li>Championing Continuous Improvement: Lead the continuous improvement of operational performance against targets and budgets, identifying enhancement data-contrast="auto">WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p> <ul> <li>Experience in managing closed book commercial arrangements with full P&L accountability for budgets over £35 million, ensuring careful financial oversight and alignment with business goals.</li> <li>Proven ability to oversee large, complex operations, including automated warehousing facilities, demonstrating expertise in advanced logistics management.</li> <li>Strong track record of leading warehousing operations at a senior level in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, focusing on process optimization and efficiency enhancement.</li> <li>Background in building effective relationships with Trade Unions through strong Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) strategies.</li> <li>Commitment to delivering a safety-first culture in all operations.</li> <li>Experience with Process Improvement techniques to tackle operational challenges, along with a passion for continuous improvement essential for success in this role.</li> <li>Proven ability to build and nurture high-performing teams, fostering engagement, collaboration, and a culture of success.</li> <li>Outstanding record of achieving targets, reflecting a results-oriented mindset.</li> <li>Experience in an OEM manufacturing supply chain environment is desirable.</li> </ul>
