Internal Communications Manager Salary – Up to £55,000 This is an exciting opportunity within the Aviva Brand and Corporate Affairs Internal Communications team, based in London. This role is part of our Internal Communications team of 5 people (including this role) that partners Aviva largest market: Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR). A bit about the job: We’re looking for a communications expert and trusted advisor, responsible for delivering communications that build pride, engagement, and connection across the market 8,000 colleagues. You’ll partner with the wider Internal Communications team to tell our market story Aviva-wide, and work on creating world-class campaigns, feeding in perspectives and needs, and tailoring/amplifying them for our audiences. When there is an appropriate business need, you’ll be the point of contact for our functional executive team members, providing strategic advice and guidance. You’ll be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels, a great listener, and confident influencing both through personal impact and using relevant data and insight. Key responsibilities: Leading and managing internal communication campaigns, tailoring and amplifying them for our different audiences. Writing regular stories and content for our different audiences, whether that bringing something to life for our customer facing colleagues or briefing our senior leaders. You’ll own and deliver the communication plans around key moments in the colleague lifecycle and share stories for Group content/events. Owning the internal communications approach for DEI and partner with relevant working groups on campaigns, representing IWR. Engaging and working with our communications network, preparing agendas for meetings and creating engaging packs for use in business areas and providing advice and guidance, working on strategic initiatives and curating content. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Strong Internal Communications experience in a large corporate. Evidence of professional qualification or membership such as IOIC is a bonus Strong interpersonal skills – ability to listen, challenge, and flex personal style as needed with people at all levels and backgrounds. Experience delivering large communication campaigns across multiple channels and audiences, that have had a measurable impact. Demonstrable experience managing senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor on all things internal communications. Evidence of budget and supplier management, with ability to write simple and clear briefs.
