Position: Industrial EngineerLocation: Sunderland JITContract Type: PermanentReports To: Engineering ManagerPurpose:Support the Industrial Engineering team in ensuring compliance with technical, customer, and corporate requirements while improving plant efficiency, productivity, and performance.Key Responsibilities:• Optimize systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks.• Collect and analyze production data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.• Support AME I4.0 projects, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.• Maintain and implement engineering processes in compliance with IATF standards.• Assist with operational problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.Preferred:• Automotive industry experience.• Project management skills.Personal Attributes:Team-oriented, detail-focused, customer-driven, and innovative.
