WHAT TO EXPECT

The role of JLR’s Corporate Affairs & Motorsport department is to protect and promote our company to a range of internal and external stakeholders. Corporate Affairs owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences and the effective management of JLR’s communication channels.

As an Internal Communications Manager (Vehicle Programmes) you will lead the creation and delivery of precise and engaging Reimagine communications aligned to our business strategy at a functional and enterprise level.

A key deliverable of this role will be to lead the communications strategy and delivery for Vehicle Programmes’ key audiences. The role will involve sourcing and creating a consistent flow of compelling content to engage employees and bring the broad range of business and transformation activity to life.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Developing and delivering a functional internal communications strategy for Vehicle Programmes which is aligned to the corporate Reimagine and Refocus communication plans to effectively inform and inspire colleagues Managing all reactive and strategic internal communications, content and channels, including mass colleague briefings and events and working closely with other JLR functions and comms leads to help deliver objectives Sourcing and delivering engaging stories, written and digital/AV assets for internal communications channels both at a functional and corporate level Providing dedicated strategic communications support and expert advice to the Executive Director and their first line and building key relationships to help drive consistent and agile messaging through programme squads Acting as a corporate affairs gatekeeper to ensure consistent and precise messaging across all Vehicle Programmes communications aligned to Reimagine

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience of delivering a functional internal communications strategy in a diverse and ever-changing business Excellent communication and AV/digital asset creation skills – filming and editing video content at speed and to a high-quality catering to the needs of multiple audiences and adapting materials and content to ensure maximum engagement Experience in producing and managing content and events – including photo and film shoots, briefs and storyboards Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail Strong stakeholder and crisis management skills
