The Investment Banking Senior Associate (Technology) is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Investment Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of Citis Investment Banking business activitiesLeverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilitiesContribute to building Citis franchiseManage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow, and providing credit and exposure information to analyst, as appropriateResponsible for organising and analysing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plansPrepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live dealsConduct economic/financial researchEvaluate companys financial performance compared to overall industry and market trendsBuild complex financial models for valuation purposes

Qualifications:

Prior experience in investment banking, private equity or related fieldsStrong interest to work with technology companiesExperience in evaluating corporate transactions and structuresExperience evaluating and creating financial analyses, including strong financial modelling skills and valuation analysisStrong presentation skillsDemonstrated problem solving and organisational skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsExperience assisting with client developmentAbility to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyse industry trends)Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines

Education:

Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience at a top tier academic institution

For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above.

This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.”
