Talent Acquisition Partner - Dulux Decorator Centres, UK

Location: Felling, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear

AkzoNobel is seeking a motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to spearhead recruitment efforts for their extensive UK Dulux Decorator Centre store network. This pivotal role will be instrumental in identifying and securing top talent, from exceptional in-store sales associates to dynamic store managers, ensuring each new hire embodies AkzoNobel's customer-first ethos.

This year marks a significant milestone for Dulux Decorator Centres, celebrating 130 years of dedicated service and partnership with tradespeople across the UK. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future workforce of this esteemed brand.

Key Responsibilities and What You'll Do:

  • End-to-End Recruitment Ownership: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for a diverse range of retail roles, from part-time sales assistants to multi-site managers across the UK.
  • Local Market Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of regional labor markets to efficiently source and attract the best candidates.
  • Employer Branding & Outreach: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies through job boards, social media, and targeted local campaigns to enhance the employer brand.
  • Strategic Partnering: Coach and collaborate with store and area managers, providing best practice guidance to facilitate informed and successful hiring decisions.
  • Proactive Pipeline Building: Anticipate hiring needs, particularly for high-turnover roles, by proactively building talent pipelines.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve recruitment processes to ensure they are efficient, candidate-friendly, and legally compliant.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment for customer-facing retail roles. Multi-site recruitment experience is a significant advantage.
  • A solid understanding of UK labor market trends and dynamics.
  • Proficiency in utilizing job boards, LinkedIn, and social media platforms for talent attraction.
  • Experience in advising and training hiring managers on recruitment best practices and legal considerations.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law as it pertains to hiring.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
