Labelling Technologist
£38,400 to £42,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)

Were looking for a Labelling Technologist to join our team and help make sure that all our Co-op branded products are labelled with all the information they need. If you can bring the level of commercial acumen and experience were after, youll have a great opportunity to develop your profile and build your career.
As a Labelling Technologist, youll be responsible for helping the team make sure that all our food, non-food and beers, wines and spirits own brand products are legally labelled with our policies in mind. In this role, youll have a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a huge range of product categories and, working alongside our own brand, design and marketing teams, support in the approval of all kinds of media and promotional activity involving them.
What youll do
Make sure that own brand product labels are accurate and meet policy and legal requirements Make sure all on pack claims have the evidence in place to back them up Collate details for new product labels and manage any changes to our existing labels Make sure every label is compliant and up to date with legislation before sign-off Manage artwork sign off processes to make sure there are no errors Investigate common themes or trends through market reviews, and produce feedback and recommendations to relevant partners Understand the legal complexities that sit behind legislation changes and take responsibility for making sure theyre implemented

Previous experience working in a Labelling role Good regulatory knowledge Some experience of working on projects Great attention to detail with good prioritisation and time management skills A collaborative and co-operative approach Experience of working with lots of people at different levels
