The Lead Cyber Security Manager is an interlock role in a niche team, working across teams to ensure the right interventions are being put in place, at the right pace and at the right time. This role is to lead a team of cyber security specialists based in Edinburgh. Weâre looking for someone who has a broad understanding of payments, cyber security and engineering, with the personal attributes and business skills to harness the expertise of these three areas. WHAT YOUâLL NEED⦠Leadership experience suitable for a small team of experts with a diverse security skillset. Extensive knowledge and understanding of cyber security principles across the 8 CISSP domains. Extensive experience of developing and executing cyber security strategy. Extensive cyber security knowledge in a large and complex enterprise organisation. Experience of assessing Cloud security configuration against best practice. Experience of articulating cyber risks and leading the remediation or mitigation of cyber risks. Experience of delivering complex security risk and compliance assessments, communicating outcomes and action recommendations to senior stakeholders. Experience of shaping cost/risk/benefit cases for senior audiences to support the improvement of systems security and maintain security compliance with internal security standards and external laws, regulations and industry schemes. Comprehensive knowledge of security testing and vulnerability management. Experience of leading and promoting a strong security culture and sharing cyber security knowledge and awareness. Proven success in delivering complex accountabilities with minimal supervision. In depth knowledge of emerging threats e.g., Quantum, AI and Digital Ledger IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAD⦠Financial Services Regulation and Payments Scheme compliance experience. Experience of DevSecOps and securing containers, microservices, serverless computing. One or more of the following qualifications (or equivalent): CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISMP.
