The Opportunity:
- Impactful Work: You will be instrumental in delivering major new onshore transmission infrastructure, including overhead lines, underground cables, and substations, as part of the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment Portfolio. - Leadership and Growth: As a Lead Project Manager, you will report to a Project Director and manage a team of project and senior project managers. This role offers extensive opportunities for leadership development and the chance to mentor and guide a dedicated team.
- Strategic Importance: You will work closely with the Transmission Management team to ensure the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycles – from refinement and construction to commissioning.

- Location Flexibility: The role is based in one of SSEN Transmission's Scottish locations: Inverness, Aberdeen, Perth, or Glasgow. This offers a choice of vibrant cities across Scotland from which to operate.
- Competitive Remuneration and Benefits: The salary range is £66,100 - £99,100, dependent on your skills and experience. This is complemented by a car/allowance, a performance-related bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

- Technical and Professional Foundation: While not always mandatory, holding or working towards professional registrations or qualifications such as Chartered Project Professional or Chartered Engineer will be highly advantageous.
- Driving Requirement: A full, current driving licence is essential due to the need for travel between offices and project sites.
