About the Role

We are seeking a committed and dynamic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Hospitality & Tourism who shares our passion for student success, applied learning and impact scholarship. 

You will design and deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, create inclusive learning resources, supervise projects and dissertations, and contribute to continuous curriculum enhancement. You will support students’ development, ensuring they gain the academic knowledge, practical skills and professional confidence needed to thrive in their future careers. 

You will also play an active role in our research and enterprise activity, contributing to knowledge generation, consultancy, publications and industry collaboration. 

Candidates applying at the Senior Lecturer level will additionally provide academic leadership, support curriculum design, lead modules or programmes, generate external partnerships and advance student employability initiatives.

About You – What You’ll Need to Thrive

 To excel in this role, you will bring: 

Expertise in Hospitality, Tourism, Events Management or a closely related fieldStrong experience of teaching, learning design or practice-based instructionThe ability to create inclusive, engaging and applied learning experiencesSkill in supervising research or consultancy projects at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levelA collaborative, student-centred approach with strong pastoral and academic support skillsAn interest in producing impactful research outputs and contributing to knowledge transferExcellent organisational, communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to widening participation, diversity and inclusive education

A Master’s degree is required, and candidates with a PhD, Advanced HE Fellowship or relevant industry background are particularly welcome.
