Join us at Barclays as a Prime Brokerage (Liquid Financing) Relationship Manager. In role you will manage relationships across our European clients with a particular focus on Synthetic Prime Brokerage. As the primary point of contact for our clients in this space you will solve issues whilst continuing to maintain and build upon existing relationships. Additionally you will have involvement in testing and new rollouts of products including - Synthetic PB / Cash PB (Equities and Fixed Income (margin lending and repo)) / Cleared OTC and listed derivatives.

To be successful in this role you should have experience in:

Managing complex client relationshipsCommon hedge fund strategies and activitiesUnderstanding of prime brokerage business and regulatory landscape

Confident and effective communicationAbility to work collaborativelyAbility to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders

This role is based in London.

Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.

Accountabilities

Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.
