Litigation Paralegal Salary – Circa £30,000 12-month FTC Are you a detail-oriented legal professional with litigation experience? This is a great opportunity for an experienced paralegal, law graduate, Legal Executive, solicitor, or barrister looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced in-house legal team. If you have a strong understanding of the claims process and civil procedure rules and are eager to work on a variety of litigation matters, this could be the perfect role for you! A bit about the job: You will be joining a committed, collaborative, and supportive team within Aviva UK Litigation function, based in Norwich. Our team provides high-quality legal advice across Aviva General Insurance (GI), Life, and Health litigation areas. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of small claims and fast-track litigation. Supporting on larger claims and provide advice on complaints with litigation potential. Responding to internal queries, covering pre-action guidance, limitation queries, and settlement terms. Collaborating with legal and commercial colleagues, developing strong relationships and enhancing business understanding. Mentoring junior team members by sharing knowledge and experience in managing claims. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Experience as a paralegal, law graduate, Legal Executive, solicitor, or barrister entitled to practice in the UK. Litigation experience with a strong knowledge of the claims process and civil procedure rules. Ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders, third parties, and external advisers. Knowledge or experience in the financial services sector, particularly insurance, is beneficial. Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
