Key Responsibilities to Excel In:

As an integral part of the MLTC CNC team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support. This includes:

  • Assisting the Collaborations Programme Manager in delivering programme activities.
  • Organising and coordinating meetings, seminars, and events (both online and in-person).
  • Managing travel arrangements, accommodation, and expense processing.
  • Drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintaining and improving office procedures and systems for efficiency.
  • Supporting purchasing requirements and resolving invoice queries.
  • Managing crucial records and databases for NIHR reporting.
  • Liaising with internal and external partners to ensure smooth communication.
  • Supporting communication plans for website and social media promotion.
  • Facilitating the payment process for public contributors.

What Candidates Should Consider for Success:

  • Essential Skills: Strong IT proficiency (especially Microsoft Office), excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high levels of literacy and numeracy with keen attention to detail are crucial.
  • Experience is Key: Proven experience in administrative support, including managing confidential information, basic finance and purchasing, coordinating meetings, and prioritising workloads, will be highly advantageous. Experience working within a diverse team and with senior management is also valued.
  • Attributes for Growth: The ideal candidate will be highly organised, flexible, approachable, and possess a proactive "can-do" attitude.
