Continuous Improvement Manager – Demand Felling, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear

Job Purpose You will oversee demand planning performance across the regions and work to improve the maturity of demand planning processes. This will involve encouraging the standardisation of demand planning processes and organisation across the regions and developing the capabilities of planning teams. You will also ensure proficiency in the use of demand planning software and supporting systems as well as take responsibility for master data governance and SAP development to enable effective demand planning.

Job Responsibilities • Develop / implement effective demand planning strategies. • Support the improvement of statistical models & data analysis to improve forecast accuracy & reduce forecast bias • Develop a continuous improvement mindset within the global demand planning team and be a focal point for training and improving demand planning skills and knowledge • Troubleshoot & resolve any software and system-related issues that may arise during the demand planning process. • Collaborate with colleagues to review performance & implement best practices/innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. • Continuously evaluate & integrate new tool features/updates to improve planning efficiency. • Monitor & investigate market trends, sales patterns & historical data to adjust forecasts as necessary.

Job Requirements • Extensive experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related role. • Experience with demand planning software (e.g. OMP, EyeOn, Infor) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • A proactive approach to identifying & addressing issues.
