About the Opportunity
Westinghouse is seeking an Engineer 1 to contribute significantly to the delivery of critical Mechanical Engineering deliverables across various projects. Key Responsibilities to Expect:
In this role, you will be instrumental in:
- Developing design solutions using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Inventor, creating essential drawings for proposals and manufacturing.
- Performing scoping calculations and basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
- Producing critical technical documents such as Basis of Design, Testing Strategies/Schedules, and Method Statements.
- Actively participating in design meetings and technical reviews, effectively presenting your technical solutions.
