Salary £28,701.33 per annum We are seeking a Mileage & Trip Verification Clerk to validate the daily lost mileage for each of our bus routes using a number of our internal systems. The main areas of responsibility will be: to record and audit daily mileage of bus services operated by the Company to compile & code lost mileage using reports and internal data systems to gather data providing correct mileage recording by auditing reports, checking print outs, checking daily driver records, and information provided by our service controllers to ensure all operations staff adhere to Company rules and regulations associated with the recording of operated/lost mileage to provide feedback to support teams and drivers on mileage recording related issues to liaise with Transport for London and garage staff to record data correctly The post holder should ideally have knowledge of computer systems including basic spreadsheets and word processing and be able to adapt quickly to using our various internal data recording systems. Knowledge of the Company routes and operational area is desirable. Sound interpersonal skills including communication, both orally and in writing, is essential as is the ability to be accurate, make decisions and possess an aptitude for computers including basic spreadsheets, word processing and data inputting. The jobholders must be flexible and will be required to work between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00; weekend working may also be required upon occasions, however you will be expected to change your working hours to suit the needs of the business. West Ham bus garage is expected to close in the near future so you will be required to transfer to another location; this will be discussed with you nearer the time.
