Position: Overhead Cleaning OperativeLocation: Mars Wrigley, Dundee Road, Slough, SL1 4LGWorking Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pmPay & Benefits:£12.64 per hourOpportunities for career developmentAccess to the Sodexo employee benefits packageAbout the RoleSodexo is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Overhead Cleaning Operative to deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring overhead structures, equipment, and high-level areas are maintained in line with strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the highest standards of cleanliness within assigned overhead and high-level areas by following all relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Clean overhead structures, pipework, beams, ducting, and equipment using approved methods and access equipmentConduct regular checks of cleaning equipment, machinery, and access equipment during the working day, reporting any faults or defects to the supervisorEnsure strict adherence to internal operating procedures, GMP standards, and statutory regulationsActively participate in the Company Health and Safety Policy, reporting hazards, risks, or GMP concerns to the supervisorOperate proactively to support the Sodexo Facilities Management team, anticipating requirements and delivering a positive, can-do approachEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors, suppliers, and customersLiaise daily with other members of the cleaning team and site personnel to ensure safe and effective service deliveryAttend all required training sessions and continuously develop relevant knowledge and skillsWhat Were Looking ForPrevious experience in overhead, high-level, or industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential; full training will be providedComfortable working at height and following strict safety proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, flexible, and proactive approach to workGood communication skills and strong awareness of health and safety complianceWhy Sodexo?:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.Belong in a company and team that values you for you.
