We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.  About your team: The Chief Customer Office (CCO) exists to drive commercial growth across all of Centrica Retail through focus on world class customer experience and highly attractive and compelling product and service propositions.  About your role: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PMO & Governance Manager to lead the governance and reporting processes across our customer and CX portfolios. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure delivery is well-structured, transparent, and aligned with strategic goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to maintain high standards in planning, risk management, and performance tracking. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving consistency and continuous improvement in programme delivery, we’d love to hear from you. What will you be doing? Operate the delivery governance framework for strategic customer programmes, including controls, templates, and reporting cadence Provide PMO oversight across key initiatives — ensuring consistency in planning, tracking, change control, and risk management Partner with Finance, Growth Strategy, and other Portfolio colleagues to ensure alignment of investment, capacity, and benefits tracking. Manage central reporting processes including programme health, milestone status, dependency logs, and benefits tracking Coordinate and prepare inputs for governance boards, portfolio reviews, and executive reporting cycles Support programme teams in applying standards and using delivery toolkits (e.g. RAID logs, change controls, delivery dashboards) Maintain portfolio-level views of delivery progress, risks, issues, and resource dependencies. Drive continuous improvement of PMO practices and support teams in adopting best-practice delivery disciplines Ensure alignment between PMO activities and portfolio prioritisation, assurance, and business readiness efforts Support onboarding and capability building for programme and project teams Act as a point of contact for internal audit, compliance, or regulatory reviews of programme governance Here's what we’re looking for: Proven experience in a PMO, delivery governance, or programme support role Excellent knowledge of programme lifecycle, delivery frameworks, and governance principles Certification in PMO, Project, or Programme Management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PMI) is desirable Training in governance or risk assurance is an advantage Skilled in reporting, documentation, dashboarding, and stakeholder coordination Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple programmes' documentation simultaneously Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Familiarity with delivery tools (e.g. MS Project, Power BI, JIRA, Smartsheet) and governance workflows * Please note that the hiring manager for this role is Faye Berry, if you have any questions or need further information, please do reach out to Faye.
