The Department of Campus Infrastructure wish to appoint a Painter/Decorator to join the team!
You will be responsible for assisting the team with painting and decorating the University's residential buildings, hospitality and catering outlets on campus and in the city. You may also undertake other maintenance activities such as minor repairs and maintenance of the building fabric.
We would like to hear from you if you:
have an Apprenticeship in Painting & Decorating or similar to City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Decorating Occupations (Painting And Decorating) or equivalenthave practical hands-on DIY skills and the necessary vocational training and experience to undertake routine repairsare familiar with, and happy to work in, the built environment and able to identify and remedy a variety of maintenance tasks and keep all affected informed of the situationhave a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake training to improve knowledge are committed to the role and able to work individually and as part of a teamFurther information
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
Hours of working will fall between 08:00 and 18:00, to be worked flexibly as required by operational needs, Monday to Friday.
