Specialist Vehicle Operations (SVO) is the pinnacle of JLR. Creating the ultimate example of each model with the ability to tailor them completely to the individual Customers requirements and desires. The end result is a vehicle that blends luxury, capability and performance into one package that represents the best of JLR.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As Physical stores Supervisor, you will hold an Integral role, leading a small warehouse team to ensure all logistic requirements are met. Material receipt, put away, pick, along with all accompanying supporting elements.

In addition to leading the Warehouse team, the role encompasses the supporting of Site wide Health & Safety elements, including coordinating the wider DC3 teams to ensure compliance at senior reviews.

• Manage a small team MP&L team, covering all local operations and HR aspects• Present at senior start of shift, and end of shift reviews, compile and issue reports• Create & implement local processes, upload to central database• Support SVO launches, Champion audit readiness, including external UTAC audits• Support senior site H&S reviews representing all business areas• Co-ordinate Safety data with all departments, ensure data is complete, escalate noncompliance• Support local Initial incident reports, accident reporting, interrogate local systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

• Previous experience in an MP&L Operational role is essential• Demonstratable knowledge of leading & co-ordinating multifunctional teams • Experience co-ordinating H&S activities would be desirable• Demonstrate a high level of motivation and resourcefulness, to be able to operate without direction• Have a thorough, logical and structured approach to problem solving, with high attention to detail• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills
