Job Description Programme Delivery Executive (Regen) â Submarines Full time on site Derby What you will be doing Working within the Infrastructure delivery business unit, you will lead the regen infrastructure programme, and the delivery leads of the component projects. The role will lead on implementing optimal ways of working, across both infrastructure teams, the programme sponsor, and our supply chain partners, ultimately leading to delivery of the desired programme outcomes. Responsibilities Accountable to the Director of Infrastructure for project and programme performance in delivery of the Regen infrastructure sub-programme, to meet the functional scope defined by the sponsoring business Governance and leadership of Heads of Delivery to deliver defined projects and the programme to agreed schedule Executive interface with tier one fissile supply chain partners Deputise for Director of Infrastructure on Regen programme related matters as required Commercial accountability for fissile design & delivery partners (nominated service/project Manager, agreeing KPI etc) Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development of the DBU approach and change programme Drive supplier performance improvements across delivery, quality, and value for money, maximising the commercial constructs we have put in place, whilst working closely with our commercial and procurement teams Effective collaboration with the internal business sponsor, supporting functions, and long-term delivery partners is a key success factor for the Regen programme. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our approach to collaboration is defined, implemented, and sustained throughout the programme Lead a combined RR and supply chain integrated team, to optimise, enhance, and embed our departmental approach to project and programme management Supporting Senior Leadership colleagues in the development of the Regen infrastructure investment portfolio, ensuring it matches and delivers business and customer needs, in a timely and safe manner Working with your non-fissile counterpart, the infrastructure programme team and our external supply chain partners, you will establish and maintain a clear view of Regen programme health, focussing on performance against budget, schedule, quality, and health & safety targets. But also identifying additional key performance indicators to enhance understanding and drive management decision making. In this regard the role will influence the infrastructure programmes approach to performance data capture and visualisation and is solely responsible for ensuring the approach is embedded and sustained throughout the programme and its component projects You will be a respected Subject Matter Expert and key influencer for our business, customer, and senior colleagues in the infrastructure 1st line leadership team, on matters relating to the Regen infrastructure programme and the capabilities required to deliver effectively Other Accountabilities: Working closely with requirements owners, subject matter experts, and functional support teams, you and your team will ensure smooth and effective translation of requirements into scopes of work, work package sourcing, and ultimately, execution of the works packages that make up the Regen infrastructure programme Develop and lead the Regen infrastructure programme delivery team, to be not only capable of delivering to existing commitments, but agile and resilient enough to respond to changing demands placed on them. You will set the pace, fostering a high-performance mindset and culture within the team Working with the appropriate functions and senior colleagues, ensure the programme team plays their part in ensuring appropriate governance and assurance oversight of relevant standards and quality requirements. Breadth of commercial experience within a collaborative framework, with specific experience of NEC4 contracts.
