We are excited to announce an opening for the Project Manager position in the Waste to Energy Research Cluster Project. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the UK, driving advancements in sustainable waste management solutions.
As the Project Manager, you will lead the coordination and development of the research cluster, working closely with industry experts, technology providers, and academics. You will oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery. You will be pivotal in fostering partnerships, facilitating knowledge exchange, and ensuring financial management and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will lead an interdisciplinary team of Researchers, Engineers, and Administrators, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or basic sciences, with a management degree being a plus. You should have proven project management experience, ideally within the renewable energy or waste management sector, and a strong knowledge of waste-to-energy technologies in Saudi Arabia and the UK. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and experience in international research collaborations are highly desirable.
