Project Manager (Internal Only)

Are you an experienced and motivated Project Manager looking to take on an exciting challenge? We’re searching for a dynamic individual to lead a European Commission project that will shape the future of cybersecurity. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the project’s success, ensuring seamless execution and strong collaboration across a diverse consortium of partners.

As the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning to execution and monitoring. You’ll set milestones, track performance against key KPIs, and ensure the project stays within budget. Your leadership will be essential to managing complex work-streams, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering effective communication between all stakeholders. Strong project management skills and a deep understanding of cyber security will enable you to provide strategic oversight and ensure the project’s successful completion.

Project Management Expertise: Experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in a multi-partner environment.Cyber-security Knowledge: A solid understanding of cyber-security concepts to ensure strategic direction and technical accuracy.Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including consortium partners, funding bodies, and external groups.Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they: 

•    Are under 26 years old

•    Hold a PhD that is relevant to the role

•    Have held a Student or Graduate visa in the last 2 years

•    Are already in the UK with a Tier 2 or Skilled Worker visa issued before April 4th 2024
