Job Description JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Manager – Guarantees - Trade Services SALARY: £43,803 - £48,670 LOCATIONS: Birmingham HOURS: Full-Time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at our Birmingham office. Initially there will be an accreditation period of approximately 12 weeks, whilst undertaking training. The expectation would be for 100% office attendance during this period, and following successful accreditation the 40% hybrid workstyle would apply. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll join a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in our Trade Services. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional results and continuously improving our processes. Key Accountabilities: Perform various complex tasks that require interpretation and good judgment, ensuring accurate completion while following group-specific policies and procedures. Review documentation for client and facility onboarding, attending exploratory meetings, and collaborating exceptionally with colleagues to deliver flawless results for our customers. Assist Operations Manager(s) in identifying and resolving risk events, complaints, and post-issue errors to ensure successful process implementation. Own, develop, and deliver technical guides, training materials, and aide memoirs, in support of the Risk-Based Checking model, promoting a culture of right-first-time processing. Conduct monthly quality sampling across products, teams, and colleagues to provide post-assurance activity and ensure compliance with established standards. Become an SME in multiple Trade Products to provide cover for colleagues across the Quality Assurance & Onboarding Team, ensuring continuity and expertise in all areas. What You'll Need: Strong knowledge of at least one of the following - Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits v 600, Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees v 758, International Standby Practices (ISP98) or International Standard Banking Practice (ICC Publication 745). Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for Trade products and the Trade Services environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients. Proven experience in developing and delivering training materials and technical guides. Commitment to achieving the CITF qualification within 12 months if not already qualified.
