Embark on a Leadership Journey in Quality Care: Quality Development Manager at Care UK

Are you a seasoned Registered Nurse with a passion for driving excellence and a vision for the future of care? Care UK, an award-winning private care provider with a significant national presence, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Quality Development Manager to join their esteemed team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and elevate the standard of care across multiple homes within the Central East Region.

At Care UK, the core values of Caring, Passionate, and Teamwork are not just principles, but the very foundation of their operations. This commitment to residents is mirrored in their dedication to nurturing and developing their staff. If you are eager to contribute to a mission-driven organisation that values your expertise and supports your professional growth, this could be your next significant career step.

The Opportunity: A Strategic Role in Quality Assurance

As a Quality Development Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of care delivery. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will:

  • Drive Excellence in Care and Clinical Services: Collaborate directly with Regional Directors and Home Managers to enhance care and clinical service development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ultimately impacting external ratings positively.
  • Champion Best Practices and Compliance: Lead the implementation and embedding of best practices across various care and clinical initiatives. This includes monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as tissue viability, nutrition, end-of-life care, and medication management.
  • Leverage Data for Strategic Improvement: Analyse individual home data to proactively identify trends, address concerns, and implement effective strategies for improvement, demonstrating a data-driven approach to care quality.
  • Foster Colleague Development: Play a key role in the engagement and professional development of colleagues, ensuring they are equipped and supported to deliver exceptional care.

Key Considerations for Aspiring Candidates:

This role is designed for individuals who are ready to make a tangible impact and possess a strong foundation in clinical quality. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC Pin.
  • A full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle, essential for covering the designated region.
  • Proven experience in Quality and Governance, with a preference for experience within a care home setting.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of resident care are consistently practiced.

Advantages of Joining Care UK:

Choosing to advance your career with Care UK offers a multitude of benefits:

  • Impactful Leadership: Be at the forefront of shaping care quality within a leading national organisation.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work within a supportive and inclusive team, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Career Growth: Be part of a dynamic and expanding organisation that invests in its people and offers avenues for professional development.
  • Meaningful Contribution: Directly influence the lives of residents and contribute to the success and reputation of multiple care homes.
  • Competitive Offering: Benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Care UK is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and talented workforce, welcoming individuals who share their passion for making a difference. If you are ready to fulfil your potential and lead in the quality development of care, this is an exceptional opportunity.
