Job Description Job Title: Radiation Protection Professionals - Submarines Working Pattern: 37 hours days Working location: Derby Raynesway Salary range: up to £ 74145 PA plus benefits depending on experience We are looking for experienced Radiation Protection Professionals to join our growing team at Rolls-Royce Submarines in support of current operations as well as our exciting new build programmes. What you will be doing: Depending on your level of experience, you will have the opportunity to get involved in the following types of work: Providing advice and guidance to our operational nuclear facilities Guiding project teams to develop our future nuclear facilities Designing and delivering radiological training Assessing radiological hazards and designing control measures Other radiological work such as radioactive waste management, Class 7 Dangerous Goods advice, emergency response Who weâre looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. To be successful in this role you will need to have: Completed a STEM based degree or have an equivalent level of experience in the nuclear sector Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) or Radioactive Waste Adviser (RWA) certification or experience working as a senior Health Physicist.
