What we achieve together

Reporting directly to the National Sales Director - Commercial Systems you will be responsible for maintaining existing contacts and contracts as well as developing new business, growing sales, and creating further opportunities within the commercial market. This role will cover a range of postcodes across North Wales, the North East and the North West. Postcodes to include: BB, BD, BL, CH, CW, DL, FY, HD, HG, HX, IM, L, LA, LL, LS, M, OL, PR, SK, TS, WA, WF, WN, YO. You will be drive sales of commercial products in the form of the ecoTEC 48 to 120kW wall hung boilers, ecoCRAFT 80 to 280kW floor standing boilers as well as the extensive range of ancillary equipment including rigs, pumps, controls, and cylinders and heat pumps. Providing technical sales advice to customers from all aspects of the heating industry. As part of this role, you will analyse various reports monthly to keep track of sales targets and work with the National Sales Director - Commercial Systems to formulate plans to get on track / identify opportunities. Attend regular bi-monthly feedback meetings to share the performance of your area, sharing what works or hasn’t worked in area or potential for growth.

What makes us successful together

You will be highly motivated and able to demonstrate sales negotiation, call planning, presentational and IT skills. To enable you to deal with queries effectively a knowledge of all Vaillant products is required including heat pumps in this specialist market sector. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will need to be able to communicate on a technical sales level with people from all aspects of the industry including, contractors/installers, local authorities, specifiers/consulting engineers & end using clients. The role requires the ability to build successful working relationships as you will work closely with other Regional Business Managers across other sales areas. You will have good organisational and time management skills ensuring accurate recording of activities on CRM system and be a confident user of Microsoft Office products. A driving licence is essential, the role requires extensive travel in the sales areas of responsibility, with some overnight stays.
