Job at Care UK in Colchester, Essex

Embark on a fulfilling career journey with Care UK, a leading, award-winning private care company renowned for its commitment to exceptional resident care. As we expand our network of over 160 care homes across the United Kingdom, we are actively seeking an outgoing and proactive Regional Business Support Analyst to join our dedicated team.

This role presents a unique opportunity for professionals driven by a desire to shape the future of care through operational excellence. At Care UK, our core values of Caring, Passionate, and Teamwork are the foundation of everything we do, and our success is intrinsically linked to the strength and dedication of our people. If you're looking to make a tangible difference and contribute to a mission-driven organization, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

The Opportunity: Regional Business Support Analyst

As a Regional Business Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our home managers and administrators. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the effective utilization of business systems and adherence to established procedures. You will provide direct advice, deliver targeted training, and identify areas for improvement, ultimately driving greater efficiency and compliance across our care homes.

Key Responsibilities and Advantages for Your Career Path:

  • Enhance Process Quality and System Usage: You will actively identify issues, advise on best practices for process improvement, and deliver training. The ability to monitor the success of these initiatives offers valuable experience in change management and performance measurement, directly contributing to your analytical and problem-solving skill set.
  • Strategic Advisory and Reporting: Working closely with Regional Directors, you'll provide critical insights into process compliance and business system usage. This elevated level of responsibility allows you to develop strong reporting and advisory skills, demonstrating your strategic thinking and ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Propose and Implement Solutions: You'll be instrumental in developing proposals for future actions and supporting planned initiatives, requiring you to gain approval and sponsorship for changes. This experience in project proposal development and implementation will be highly beneficial for future leadership roles.
  • Drive Compliance and Efficiency: Collaborating with the Systems Operations Manager and Regional Director, you will devise and implement action plans to reduce non-compliance. This hands-on involvement in operational improvement initiatives will hone your ability to deliver measurable results and contribute to business objectives.
  • Optimize Support and Training Delivery: Identifying and developing cost-effective methods for support and training delivery will sharpen your strategic planning and resource management capabilities.
  • Evaluate and Refine: Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of advice and training provides valuable experience in performance analysis and continuous improvement, key skills in any analytical role.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Advising on business continuity, including ensuring process continuity during periods of absence, develops your foresight and risk management skills.
  • Team Collaboration and Feedback: Contributing to Business System team meetings and providing feedback on operational and technical issues fosters strong collaboration and communication skills, essential for any team-oriented environment.
  • System Testing and Development: Participating in system upgrades and new application development offers exposure to IT lifecycle management and quality assurance processes.
  • Documentation and Procedure Development: Producing quality written procedures, user manuals, and support materials will significantly enhance your technical writing and content creation skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • Mobility: A willingness and ability to travel to residential care homes and other Care UK sites is essential, offering varied work environments and exposure to different operational settings.
  • Proven Experience: Previous experience in a similar support or analyst role within a large organization is highly valued, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • IT Proficiency: Up-to-date knowledge of general IT systems and commonly used software packages is a fundamental requirement.
  • Training Acumen: Experience in delivering training and producing training documentation is a significant advantage, highlighting your ability to transfer knowledge effectively.

Why Join Care UK?

  • Impactful Work: Be an integral part of a dynamic and growing organization focused on providing outstanding care, directly contributing to the well-being of residents.

  • Competitive Rewards: Enjoy a competitive salary coupled with a comprehensive benefits package that reflects our commitment to our employees.
  • Career Growth: We are committed to fostering the growth of our employees. This role offers substantial opportunities to develop your analytical, operational, and strategic capabilities, setting you up for future success within the care sector or beyond.
