What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like:

• Strategic Leadership: You'll provide high-level strategic direction to operational support functions, ensuring meticulous coordination of planning, workflow, facilities, and resource management to achieve peak performance.
• Customer Engagement: Take the lead in customer calls and engagement activities, serving as a key point of contact to review performance, resolve challenges, and drive improvements in line with joint business objectives.
• Resource Management: Ensure the operation is robustly resourced with highly trained professionals, including effective agency management, contractor relationships, and oversight of automated systems and third-party engineering partners (e.g., DEMATIC).
• Comprehensive Oversight: Manage all non-warehouse operational functions, encompassing infrastructure, compliance, safety, and security, playing a crucial role in supporting the General Manager to achieve site-wide performance and profitability.
• Driving Innovation: Champion continuous improvement and site development, leveraging structured methodologies and employee feedback to identify enhancement opportunities, implement impactful changes, and foster long-term operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Who You Are: A Profile for Success

• Operational Acumen: Previous operational leadership experience, particularly within consumer food environments, will be highly advantageous. Your understanding of quality, compliance, and process discipline in demanding, customer-centric settings is key.
• Stakeholder Dexterity: You possess strong stakeholder management skills, enabling you to effectively navigate and foster productive relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with automation and third-party engineering environments is beneficial. Ideally, you'll have experience managing support functions within high-tech warehouse operations.
