The role As a Resources Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The candidate will play a vital part in managing equipment and resources.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services to the applicable training courses; including transporting, erecting, and dismantling of equipment; sentry duties; watermanship safety. Support the delivery of Resource Management services such as Snow and Ice Clearance (SNIC), storage areas, damage control and porterage as direct by Line Management. Deal with day-to-day customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner. Carry out level 1 & 2 and other technical maintenance in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications (AESPs). Support department requirements for audits and inspections including preparation of equipment and remedial actions.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.

This role is full time and based onsite at Minley.

Essential experience of the Resources Operative:

Ability to swim. Experience of manual handling Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and work under pressure. Problem solving and root cause identification skills Innovative with a continuous improvement and change focus Able to read and understand detailed instructions. Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications for the Resources Operative:

Driving licence suitable for use within the UK

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
