Salary:£42,600 - £64,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

To help us reach net zero by 2030, were looking for a Senior Carbon Analyst to play a key part in driving our business towards achieving net zero. Someone who can bring big ideas, fresh skills and innovative thinking to build a world thats more sustainable and inclusive for you, your family and the community you live in for generations to come.

You will

Lead on annual Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions reporting to meet regulatory requirements and transparently communicate our climate impact to our wider stakeholder community in various formats. Deliver quantitative GHG emissions forecasting and analysis to inform, influence and engage colleagues across the business to drive progress towards our science-based emissions reductions targets. Analysedisplaced carbon, operational carbon, capital carbon, naturecarbonand negative carbon. Methodology development and documentation to support the above to improve data governance and support data assurance processes. Working closely with the Sustainability team,presentregularupdatesand one-off analysis in a variety of internal forumsthat you lead/supportas the carbon data subject matter expert,helpingdrivedecisionmaking.

You have

Educated to degree level in a relevantsubject (or equivalent), and evidence of relevant professional experience. Undertakenanalysis to inform organisational strategy: collecting relevant information, analysing it systematically and translating it into reports and presentations, especially in relation to GHG emissions reductions (e.g. science-based targets). Experience engaging with and influencing people across an organisation to drive positive change. Familiarity with the wider context for climate,sustainabilityand energy policy (e.g. climate emergency, net zero, just transition). Experience of working inmulti-disciplinaryteams towardssharedobjectives.
