About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our Off-Trade business and build strong partnerships that drive growth. As Senior Customer Manager, you’ll deliver budget volume, revenue, profit, and market share for the Off-Trade.

You’ll manage a portfolio of key UK customers as part of a collaborative, high-performing team. We’ve built strong strategic partnerships and are renowned for excellent relationships across Head Office and regional contacts, driving share performance.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for your retailers - managing day-to-day needs, negotiating annual agreements, pricing, and promotions. You’ll champion customer understanding across HUK, ensuring a joined-up approach that meets both customers’ expectations and HUK’s strategic goals.

You’ll work closely with other teams and functions, develop skills across consumer, shopper, and customer categories, and drive accuracy in jointly agreed brand forecasts.

Key responsibilities include:

Be the main contact for your customer account base, ensuring outstanding customer management and strong, long-term partnerships. Negotiate and deliver all commercial variables (e.g., promotional support, pricing, trading terms) and create long-term agreements to achieve commercial KPIs. Work closely with account leadership as their recognized category partner of choice, developing plans that grow their drinks category and increase HEINEKEN share. Apply business insights to create competitive advantage, leveraging category and shopper understanding to shape commercial plans. Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen, including revenue management, supply chain dynamics, and process knowledge to optimise outcomes. Use selling and negotiation skills with impact, connecting through storytelling, influencing decisions, and finding win-win solutions. Drive excellence at the point of buying (PICOS) by ensuring the right store execution and perfect store standards across all retail environments.

About You:

We’re looking for a strong all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires someone who can build strong relationships, interpret data to create winning plans, and confidently sell and negotiate.

If you’re relationship-driven, have experience managing a budget or P&L, and are passionate about shaping plans that influence nationwide stores and outlets, you’ll ideally bring:

Strong stakeholder management skills – able to create and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders Commercial acumen and understanding of revenue drivers A growth mindset with the ability to create strategically aligned plans Evidence of being a strong team player Curiosity to develop skills in category & shopper insights, negotiation, and perfect store execution

Our benefits:

Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

Annual bonus Benefits Allowance (15% of base salary) Double-matched pension (up to 10%) 32 days’ holiday, plus three listed public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day – if any fall on a weekend, you’ll get the following weekday off) Life assurance (subject to policy terms) Critical illness insurance – comprehensive cover for you and your family Free ciders and beers (including low and zero alcohol options) Retail discounts Wellbeing support, including mental health champions, free counselling, and access to colleague networks Comprehensive development opportunities Option to join our colleague networks to connect, share, and build inclusion …and much more!
