About the Role

You will be a part of the insights and innovation team that delivers strategic data analysis and products, that enable colleagues across RM to gain maximum value from its extensive data assets. You will also:

• Lead and deliver complex and interrelated programmes, projects and requests, that source and transform RM’s data assets into innovative data visualisation products and insights. • Be responsible for estimation, prioritisation, resource allocation, risk management, design, technical implementation, quality assurance, progress reporting and have accountability for the transition of successful outcomes into to business as usual. • Lead collaboration with peers, stakeholders and external partners to understand requirements, challenges and opportunities, that result in the design and development of well-adopted, user-centric data visualisations, data analytics and insights. • Develop and operationalise proof of concepts and pilots into scaled, enterprise-wide solutions, leveraging RMs data platform and meeting necessary levels access, security and availability. • Cultivate a data-driven culture, continually enhancing RM’s data fluency and demonstrating clear alignment to RM’s strategy. • Trial, adopt and promote evolving best practices and emerging capabilities, to ensure RM is at the forefront of utilising data analytics to drive value.

About You

To be a success in this role you will need experience of leading and delivering enterprise-scale data analytics products and insights and associate lifecycle maintenance, as part of cross functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, data analysts and platform architects. You should also:

• Be educated to degree level or achievement of equivalent knowledge, through practical experience and certifications • Have experience of leading the continual improvement of data insights to establish best practices and adopt the latest data technologies. • Have experience leading and collaborating effectively with peers, senior stakeholders, end users and external suppliers, including technical and non-technical audiences, to understand complex problems and deliver solutions. • Be competent in ad-hoc SQL (Azure/Teradata SQL) optimisation. Certification in GCP (i.e. BigQuery, Data Catalog and DataFlow) preferred. • Have conducted in-depth comparative analysis of diverse technologies, evaluating performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.
