The role As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Sharing your expertise with the Naval Nuclear Devonport Human Factors team and gaining exposure to the full portfolio on site.
Day-to-day, you’ll support engineers and other scientific disciplines operating within the high hazard nuclear regulated industry in:
The design development of new or modifications to existing site systems, processes and facilities Provide human factors input into the nuclear safety assessment process Support the successful implementation and validation of the human performance elements of the safety case within the operational business setting Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates and programme schedules for human factors assessment workThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 1 day in the office/onsite and 4 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Human Factors Engineer
Knowledge of Human Reliability Assessment Solid understanding of task analysis techniques Understanding of verification and validation techniques Supporting design development of engineering solutions Safety Case experience (desirable)
