Job Description JOB TITLE: Senior Manager - Operational Risk Analytics and Insurable Risks, CCOR SALARY: £83,411 - £98,130 LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Halifax or Leeds HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above offices About this opportunity We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. This means we’re changing how we do risk management, creating a team of risk specialists, to provide support aligned to our risk and control owners to deliver great customer outcomes. We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our team. You’ll be lead the timely and accurate production of high-quality analysis and evaluation of the Operational Risk and Control environment in alignment with our Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). You’ll also work closely with our Insurable Risks team members to help analyse the Group corporate insurance requirements in relation to our Property & Casualty and Financial Lines. Day to day you’ll be; Proactively working with Operational Risk Specialist teams to provide Risk support and help deliver against aligned customer, business, and strategic outcomes. Leads the provision of timely and accurate data, analysis, and documentation, to monitor and manage our Group continuous risk management performance. Providing technical coaching and support to our team of operational risk analysts Ensuring findings and deviations are reported in a clear, accurate and compelling way to Executive-level and external audiences, focussing on action needed and opportunities presented Adopting a range of techniques to deliver actionable insight which informs Operational Risk Specialist decision-making and contributes to the function and wider business. Places particular focus on predictive analytics to help identify and manage risks and trends before they occur. Leading the management of actions resulting from our continuous risk management, operational risk analytics and monitoring of insurable risks Identifies issues and engages partners effectively to secure action and improvements Building a core understanding of insurable risks to support the identification of exposures and mitigants. What you’ll need Expertise in both operational risk and analytics. Technical proficiency in analytical and visualisation tools, including PowerBI and Tableau. The ability to grow and develop technical capability within our analytical team Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality analysis products at pace. Expertise in moving seamlessly between ‘the detail’ and effectively communicating high-level insight in an influential way to encourage action.
