Key Responsibilities and Career Advantages:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in shaping the commercial success of Schindler's New Installation (NI) business. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around providing expert bid and commercial support, managing pre-contract risks and opportunities, and driving successful work-winning strategies. What You Bring to the Table:

Schindler is looking for a passionate and experienced professional who thrives in a commercial and sales-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in operational Quantity Surveying, successfully managing multi-million-pound projects and service contracts.
  • A strong understanding of commercial and sales dynamics, with the ability to influence work-winning strategies while effectively managing risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with a wide range of key stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise, ideally supported by a BSc or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Demonstrated experience in estimating project costs and presenting high-quality tender documents.
  • Experience in managing Health & Safety compliance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience operating at a senior level within the commercial environment in the building construction and/or maintenance industry.
  • Knowledge of key pre-construction procedures (Procurement, Planning, Contracts).
  • Proficiency in IT, including the full Microsoft Office suite.
