• Contracting Expertise: Strong knowledge of various contracting methodologies, such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT, is essential for navigating project agreements effectively.
• Cross-Functional Acumen: A broad awareness of the lifecycle requirements for supporting functions within a large-scale project environment.
• Educational Foundation: While a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project, or construction management (or a related field) is ideal, a postgraduate qualification or membership in a professional body would be highly advantageous.
• Professional Accreditation: Aspirations to achieve or maintain APM Chartered Professional (ChPP) status within 12 months demonstrates a commitment to professional development.
• Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance is a fundamental requirement for this position. Potential candidates should be aware of the implications of nationality, birthplace, and residency on security vetting processes.
