As the University seeks to further formalise its B2B operations, a requirement has arisen for a Key Account Management function within the Professional Development Unit (PDU). In the Strategic Account Executive post you will be responsible for managing external partner relationships with a view to offering key accounts access to University services including degree apprenticeships, educational accreditation, teaching provision and executive education. Also important will be the management of internal stakeholders to ensure that the acquisition of new contracts is balanced with the resources and capacity available within the University.
The Strategic Account Executive will further develop and grow external relationships with key identified stakeholders and supporters as well as working with new contacts to ensure the university grows its sales pipeline across the Health, Defence, Food Technology, Net Zero and Agri-tech sectors. You will be expected to achieve stated sales/pipeline targets.
