Job Description

In our pursuit of excellence here at Carnival UK, we're seeking a Strategic Projects Manager to join our Shore Experiences team. 

The Shore Experience team are dedicated to innovation and excellence in delivering unforgettable experiences for our Guests onboard.  We focus on tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of our guests, while also boosting our sales effectiveness to drive growth.  

The Strategic Projects Manager is a senior role, fully accountable for the end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects that support our business goals and continuously improve our ways of working. This role demands a blend of commercial acumen and a guest-centric approach, ensuring that all initiatives drive both business performance and exceptional guest experiences. 

You will shape and lead a diverse mix of projects, including guest and product propositions, new digital platforms, systems, and processes.

 You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, to develop and execute a project roadmap that aligns with both in-year and longer-term strategic objectives 

Key responsibilities include: 

End-to-End Project Delivery: Oversee the ideation, planning, execution, and monitoring of non-BAU projects. Create project briefs, manage dependencies, and report on progress and success  Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with brand Planning leads and other stakeholders across the business to support initiatives. Communicate effectively at all levels to ensure alignment and engagement.  Change Management and Continuous Improvement: Lead change initiatives focused on unlocking opportunities and driving continuous improvements. Foster innovation and efficiency across the team  Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with Revenue & Reporting Manager, OBR performance analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making. Use data insights to inform project decisions and drive business performance 

Our ideal candidates are those who possess not only the technical skills required, but also a passion for our guest experiences and a keen eye for detail. Your academic background and professional certifications will be the foundation of your role within our team. 

Required Qualifications and Skills: 

Senior Project Delivery Experience: Proven experience in shaping and delivering change projects, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry. This includes managing complex, non-BAU projects from ideation to execution and delivery  Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data to inform project decisions and drive business performance. Experience collaborating with analytics teams to ensure data-driven strategies and outcomes  Stakeholder Management and Communication: Extensive experience in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels  Change Management and Continuous Improvement: Experience leading change initiatives focused on unlocking opportunities and driving continuous improvements.
