We pride ourselves on developing self-help, independence, social and communication skills through reactional activities on and off site for children and young people. The emotional well-being of children and young people and safety is a high priority.
You will be qualified with an NVQ/Diploma level 4 in Care of Children and Young People/Social Care Pathways/Residential Child Care or higher and will have at least 2 years’ experience or more of working in Residential Care.
You should be committed to promoting positive values, and you’ll have a confident and positive approach to behaviour management.

You will cover shifts in the absence of contracted Senior staff, including hours of 3-11pm (sleep in) and 7am-3pm. Some shifts will be negotiated in advance ie. annual leave cover, some will be short notice for sickness.
In addition to the stated salary, this role attracts new enhancements from 1st April 2024 which include:
Time and a half for weekend hours worked between 7am and 11pmTime and a third for weekday evening hours worked between 8pm and 11pm.Appointments will be subject to satisfactory disclosures at enhanced level by the Disclosure and Barring Services and other background checks, including social media. You must provide at least the last 10 years of employment or education history and explain any gaps and you must have a legal right to work in the UK.
