## Opportunity Review: Drive Product Lifecycle Management at a Global Health & Hygiene Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity to join Reckitt, a powerhouse in the hygiene, health, and nutrition sectors, renowned for its beloved and trusted brands. Reckitt's overarching purpose – to protect, heal, and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world – is more than just a mission statement; it's the driving force behind their innovative R&D efforts and the foundation for this pivotal role.

The Research & Development division at Reckitt is a dynamic hub of expertise, bringing together scientists, engineers, medical, clinical, and regulatory professionals. With nine Centres of Excellence globally, the R&D team is committed to continuous innovation, leveraging scientific prowess and an entrepreneurial spirit to enhance existing products and pioneer new solutions. This is a place where quality and performance are paramount, underpinned by a strong commitment to acting responsibly and with integrity, ensuring consumer safety and upholding the highest standards of product quality.

About the Role: Shaping the Future of Product Lifecycle Management

As a key member of the core Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing Reckitt's PLM strategy. This role offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of integrating R&D formulation development requirements into the PLM solution, ensuring seamless product design and development processes. You will collaborate extensively with a diverse group of colleagues across Reckitt's R&D and manufacturing functions, including Category Development, Product Delivery and Maintenance (PDM), Regulatory, Safety, Specification Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Technical, and Sustainability.

This is a hybrid role, requiring regular on-site presence at the Hull Site in the UK. Reckitt offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a performance bonus, private medical insurance, a 10% pension contribution, annual salary reviews, and a Sharesave scheme, reflecting their commitment to employee well-being and reward.

Key Advantages for Candidates:

  • Impactful Work: Play a critical role in shaping the future of product development for globally recognized brands, contributing directly to Reckitt's mission of a cleaner, healthier world.
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Collaborate with a wide array of departments and disciplines, providing invaluable breadth of experience and understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Professional Development: Gain access to Reckitt's Research and Development Academy, a dedicated program designed for continuous learning and professional growth within a large, international organization.
  • Strategic Influence: Be part of defining the overarching PLM blueprint and its implementation, offering a chance to influence strategic direction and process optimization.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Receive a competitive compensation package that includes performance-driven bonuses, robust health and financial benefits, and opportunities for share ownership.

Key Considerations for Candidates:

  • R&D Formulation Expertise: A strong background in R&D formulation development and a deep understanding of related processes are essential. You will represent this critical area within the PLM program.
  • Collaboration and Communication: The role demands exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams, influence stakeholders, and facilitate seamless information flow.
  • Process Mapping and Implementation: You will be involved in mapping current ('As-is') and future ('To-be') processes, requiring a keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and a methodical approach to implementation.
  • Data Management Focus: A good understanding of data management principles across various product classifications is crucial, as you will contribute to establishing clear data quality standards and community practices.
  • Hybrid Work Model: Candidates must be comfortable with a hybrid working arrangement, involving regular on-site attendance at the Hull site.
  • Experience Preferred: While not always a strict requirement, experience gained within Reckitt, particularly in Self Care, Intimate Wellness, Germ Protection, and/or Household care products, would be highly advantageous. Experience within the FMCG or pharma sector is also preferred for those outside of Reckitt.

This role is an excellent stepping stone for individuals looking to deepen their expertise in PLM within a leading FMCG and health organization. It offers a unique blend of strategic influence, hands-on process development, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful global initiatives. If you are a self-motivated, highly organized, and collaborative professional with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence, this opportunity at Reckitt could be the perfect next step in your career journey.
