Job Description VP Planning & Control Full time – Hybrid Derby Purpose We have an exciting opportunity for a VP - Planning & Control to join the Portfolio Planning team. Investing in our people and our functional competency is critical to our future success in Planning & Control (P&C). P&C is responsible for managing the end to end (E2E) supply and demand processes, from Sales & Operational Planning, through demand planning, parts production and supply, warehouse storage and logistics, supply into engine build and onward transportation and delivery of engines to our end customers. As our customer demand continues to increase, we need to ensure that the team is ‘match-fit’, to enable Civil Aerospace to deliver. The key challenges to be met in the role would be to ensure full engagement of our people across grades, roles, business units’ teams and key stakeholders; create an excitement in our P&C development opportunities and ensure that our people trust us to enable their continued growth. What you will be doing: As the VP - Planning & Control reporting to the Director, Portfolio Planning, you will provide functional leadership to the Planning and Control Community, as well as: Collaborate across the Group P&C Leadership team enabling a RR One Team approach to our Group P&C Transformation Lead the Planning & Control Central Function, defining and maintaining standard processes, policies, and operating rules for planning and controls, in addition to supporting future people, process, and systems improvements challenges! Creating the Future vision of the P&C function, through developing our strategic roadmap including industry standard benchmarks, and driving performance standards to consistency and world-class capability In collaboration with our HR Team, support our people development competency and capability, to support our future needs, in addition to developing and delivering training and development programmes to uplift planning capability across the organisation Collaborate closely with the SIOP team on the transformation roadmap including operating rules, APS and Data and MVPs Act as a process owner for planning and control modules within our RRMS system (C5) and ERP systems, driving system enhancements, simplification, standardization and data integrity Own planning KPIs and performance metrics across the business, producing consolidated reports, insights, and recommendations for senior leadership to enable the BUs to enact improvements to improve their performance Build and maintain strong relationships with our Group and Civil Planning and Control Leadership.
