Waste and Recycling Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to proactively shape waste reduction and recycling across the East Riding now and into the future.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative thinker with knowledge and interest in waste management to work within an award winning team dedicated to waste prevention and recycling.

You will have a good understanding of the importance and benefits of developing and delivering effective waste education programs to a variety of audiences and have experience of delivering targeted communications campaigns with a high standard of customer care. You will be highly proficient in the use of IT and have a high level of written and verbal communication skills.

Working across a number of different teams and in partnerships, you will maintain and develop relationships to deliver and improve resident engagement and satisfaction focusing on waste prevention and increasing levels of good quality recycling.
