Job Description Web and Social Media Manager Full Time London/Derby An exciting opportunity for a Web and Social Media Manager to lead the development, execution, and management of Rolls-Royce online presence. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our website, social media strategy, and digital engagement to drive brand visibility, audience engagement, and business growth. What you will be doing: This role is critical in driving integration of activities across Rolls-Royce and provides the opportunity to be part of a high-energy team, working to drive the transformation of Rolls-Royce at a pivotal point in its history. It is part of a team that has been formed to drive strategy and execution for our channels and content at Group level and across all three business divisions. It will suit a candidate who proven expertise in enterprise web and social and content creation, able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and collaborative environment. Website Management • Ownership of Rolls-Royce.com with specific focus on website performance, content updates and governance, and SEO strategies. • Ensure website content aligns with company messaging and business objectives partnering closely with the divisions and functions to ensure a secure, best in class platform which meets the strategic needs of the business Social Media Strategy & Management • Ownership of Group-wide social media channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube) ensuring co-ordination of divisional posts and creation of over-arching Group content with oversight of regional and topic specific channels. • Develop and execute a social media strategy for each platform that is aligned with group goals for group channels and leadership. • Plan, create, and schedule content that is aligned with our strategy and enhances our reputation and brand awareness, grows our audiences, increases engagement. Content & Digital Marketing • Development of, and creation of compelling content for the channels including thought-leadership pieces, visuals, and video. • Manage paid social and analyse performance data. Community Engagement & Reputation Management • Respond to customer queries, comments, and messages in a timely manner. • Manage online reputation, handling crisis communication if needed. Contribution to the Communications function • Be a proactive member of a high-performing team where collaboration and embedding new ways of working across the Communications Team is required to deliver business-wide priorities. Champion use of creative and digital solutions across the function, helping colleagues consider how to best to communicate through web and social channels in order to connect with our target audiences. • Act as a source of digital expertise, to accelerate the Function shift to a more diverse use of channels and content, monitoring and understanding next-generation technologies and impacts of AI. For this role you will need to demonstrate understanding of the appliable health and safety standards and we are looking for someone who is/has: Proven experience in website management, social media marketing, or digital communications. Strong track record of digital strategy development and execution. Strong knowledge of SEO, Social, and CMS platforms. Proficiency in social media management tools Strong content creation skills—writing, visual design, and video editing experience with ability to demonstrate where you have delivered compelling content with business impact. Excellent analytical skills: ability to interpret data and optimize content performance. Strong project management skills with the ability to self-motivate and prioritize efforts among multiple projects while working to tight deadlines Creative and high energy in bringing new thinking and challenge.
