Introduction to Role:

Join our Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (DA&AI) group at Enabling Units IT (EUIT), where we deliver digital and technology solutions to multiple business areas. As the AI Lead, you will be responsible for driving AI initiatives, fostering innovation, and leading a multi-functional team of AI Scientists and AI Engineers. You will play a key role in shaping our AI strategy, developing pioneering AI solutions, ensuring successful project delivery, and implementing standard methodologies in MLOps.

Accountabilities:

As the AI Lead, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of AI Scientists and AI Engineers. You will collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the AI strategy, finding opportunities for AI adoption and driving business impact. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of AI projects, from ideation to deployment. You will maintain a deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, MLOps tools, and stay updated on industry trends. You will champion the implementation of MLOps standard methodologies, including model versioning, automated deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Masters or PhD Degree (or equivalent numbers of years of experience) in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, computational sciences or a related field.- Proven experience in AI and machine learning, including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of leading successful AI projects and teams.- Advanced skills in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).- Strong knowledge of software development principles- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical partners.- Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.

- Proven track record of publishing relevant OR or predictive modelling results and tools in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other scientific proceedings.- Experience in life sciences and healthcare.- Experience in a complex global organization.
