The School of Computer Science and Engineering within the Faculty of Business and Technology is undergoing significant growth, supported by major curriculum enhancements and investment in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. As our student numbers continue to rise, we are strengthening our academic team.
About the role
We are recruiting an Academic Tutor to support us in the on-site delivery of our Computing and Game Development provisions, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Working with the delivery teams, you will be involved in the management and delivery of our modules. You will provide teaching support as and when needed to cover changes to delivery.
What you can bring
You will bring the ability to deliver high-quality teaching across diverse Computer Science areas such as games development, programming, immersive applications, AI, and operating systems, alongside experience in designing learning objectives, assessments, and providing academic support. You have strong technical expertise in specialist areas like Unity or Unreal Engine, C++/C# programming, systems programming, and network design, combined with practical skills training and curriculum development. Additionally, collaborative and leadership qualities, contributing to module leadership, programme support, and student supervision, while engaging effectively with colleagues, students, and external networks to enhance the learning experience.
