Lead, manage and optimize the "No. 1 Finance Innovation Hub in the UK and Insurance Innovation Hub in Europe" as ranked by the Financial Times. This highly influential role leads the accelerator incubator that supports startups through innovation pathways, driving innovation for the Lloyd's market. Our accelerator programmes underpin our InsurTech-driven and Operational Efficiencies innovation pathways, which drive innovation for the Lloyd's market through external technology partnerships to deliver commercial value and operational improvements. Key accountabilities within this role include: Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of the Lloyd's Lab Accelerator Programme and Market Services Programme Develop and implement strategic improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our innovation pathways Lead the design and execution of Lloyd's Lab events, including pitch days, proof of concepts, and networking events Build and maintain the Lloyd's Lab Alumni Network of 150+ graduate companies, ensuring continued engagement Establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology scouts, service providers, and industry experts Act as the primary ambassador for Lloyd's Lab innovation initiatives to InsurTechs, Managing Agents, and the market Provide expert content and briefings on innovation partnerships for senior leadership Identify and cultivate commercial opportunities between market participants and technology partners To be successful in this role, you will need advanced venture building, incubation, and acceleration programme management skills, with a passion for technology innovation and supporting startup/scale-up development at pace. Strong project management capabilities and commercial acumen are essential, along with experience managing proof of concepts with third-party technology providers. Outstanding presentation and relationship skills are required for this globally visible role leading innovation in the Lloyd's market.
