Role: Account Manager Location: Ferrybridge Working as an Account Manager you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding budgeted volume, revenue and EBITDA for associated accounts. You will develop relationships and account planning, ensuring the effective execution of account plans to ensure compliance and delivery against customer contracts. You will need to demonstrate how your transferrable skills meet the following: The ability to create new business opportunities and to manage an active opportunity pipeline Strong negotiation skills to manage commercial contracts The ability to manage and solve conflicts Experience in managing forecasting and budgeting What your key responsibilities will be: Achieving and exceeding budgeted volume, revenue and EBITDA for associated accounts To monitor volume and price activity against plan and generate action plans to hit and exceed budgets To manage contract costs and charge customer or 3rd parties (e.g Network Rail) where appropriate, working with the operations team to align activity Manage and deliver annual contract price increases To price up value added services and recovery services for customer activity outside of contract terms and conditions Mapping key customer stakeholders and aligning our commercial resource to manage these relationships Develop customer KPIs to reflect contract service delivery Provision of a communication schedule to ensure that KPIs/our performance delivery is understood at all levels Work up and submit haulage quotes to existing customers Work on customer tenders and bids, drafting customer contracts and bids Implement new customer flows, working with operations to achieve this Ensure that contractual milestones are met, working with customers to deliver on their key priorities Resolve overdue accounts and unbilled services Delivery of customer KPs and contract commitments Our perks and benefits Our people are our most important asset.
